I'd like to meet other entrepreneurs

We'd love to introduce you to other women entrepreneurs who will inspire you to chase your own entrepreneurial dreams.

Real Talk for WOBs (woman-owned businesses)

Twice a month, we gather together women entrepreneurs for Real Talk. These sessions are designed to be a complement to traditional networking, where you exchange business cards and put your best foot forward. Real Talk is different--we can let our guard down and discuss our challenges and ideas with women who get what we're going through.

The first time you come to Real Talk, it's free. After that, it's $25 (to help pay for the wine and nibbles we serve). You will love Real Talk!

Aviatra Membership

Our membership is built around two main benefits: accountability and support. Each Monday morning, we have a Zoom Accountability Call, checking in with you on your progress from the previous week and your plans for the current week. It's a supportive, judgement-free environment that will keep you on track and moving forward.

The support part of the membership is Real Talk, which you can attend (both sessions) for free. You'll be building your network of other amazing women and working through your ideas and challenges in a friendly environment. You can also share your feedback and help other entrepreneurs.

There are additional benefits of membership, as well, including savings on some of our programs. Membership is $30/month or $300/year (which includes 2 free months). We would love to welcome you as an Aviatra member!!

Fundraising Events

Our fundraising events are fantastic ways to meet other entrepreneurs and support our work. These events include:

Business Coaching

It's very helpful to talk to small business experts when you're thinking about starting a business. Here are some great organizations that provide free help:

  • SCORE: When you apply for a SCORE mentor, you'll be matched with a retired business expert who can help you figure out your next steps. They serve Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, as well as the Dayton area.

  • SBDC: When you get started, Small Business Development Center mentors can give you expert assistance, especially with budgets and forecasting.

  • Women's Business Center: The leaders at the WBC can answer your questions and connect you with valuable resources.

Alumni Advice: Fighting Fear

“Don’t let fear stop you. Action is the antidote to fear. Taking the first step builds confidence, so take that step toward your goal and then just keep walking.”
