Turning 50 could be considered a spiritual awakening for anyone, but when Tandy Pryor turned 50, it was the turning point in her career. After a near-death experience in her thirties, she was awakened and ready at 50 to start her own coaching business.
Tandy had a great coach herself, who helped her to launch her own business so she could experience the freedom and continual self-development she enjoys about being her own boss. Next, Tandy turned to Aviatra (at the time BGV) to connect with other female entrepreneurs and found the community and connection she desired.
Like all entrepreneurs, Tandy faced challenges on her road to success. She struggled with building a support team, marketing, and finding the right people to get her to where she wanted to go. However, she did not quit and has this advice for women in business today: “Find your passion- get a sense of urgency and a strong support team.”
Her business goals now include: incorporating automation, expanding her already national client base, and introducing product and online courses (in addition to her retreats and one-on-one coaching).
